Dr.
Dennis Todd (right), president and CEO of Community Blood
Services, presents Sean Euler, 9, of Bergenfield, New
Jersey, with a New Jersey Jackals� baseball signed by
legendary Yankee Yogi Berra. The baseball was raffled
off when the Jackals� mascot, Jack the Jackal, recently
visited the center to encourage blood donations. Jack
signed autographs and had his photo taken with the children
of blood donors who came to the center to donate during
one of the worst blood shortages in recent history. |

Winners
of the Sharp sponsored teen blood drive contest
Teenagers
18 to 20 (17 with parental permission) were encouraged to
help ease the worst blood shortage in recent history by donating
before the end of August, when the winning raffle tickets
for prizes were chosen.

She left town to start college. Accepting the prize was
her mother, Holly Samuel and brother, John Samuel. |
