Blood Services would like to thank LoDan, a division of
Emerson Network Power of St. Louis, Missouri, for hosting
a blood drive on June 17, 2002 at its Totowa , NJ facility.
LoDan, a state of the art optical assembly facility, had
30 of its employees come out and donate blood. Michael
Lawson, the company's operations manager who served as
coordinator of the drive, wanted to show LoDan's commitment
to the community by encouraging his staff to donate blood
and save lives. Mr. Lawson had read about the blood shortage
crisis and felt there was no reason why corporations like
his own could not take the time to help those in need.
Any company interested in setting up a similar blood drive
can call Diane Beale, recruitment manager, at 201-251-3715. |
