There is an Urgent Need for Platelets NOW!
We apologize for the frequent emails, but as one of our very valuable platelet donors there is an immediate need for YOUR help. We have a critical shortage of platelets following this past weekend's storm after our blood centers were closed, blood drives were canceled, and we were unable to receive platelet imports due to flight cancellations.

We hope you can find time this week to make a platelet donation. Did you know we must collect 50 platelets a day to meet patient needs? Patients in our local hospitals really need your help! Our centers are all open for regular hours (see sidebar on right). We thank you for your lifesaving efforts and wish you safe travels to and from our donor centers.
