Donate Blood at DePiero’s Blood Drive
& Get Complimentary PANTOPHOBIA Ticket

October 9, 2015

MONTVALE, NJ – Anyone who donates blood at the Blood for Life blood drive being held October 9th at Diepieros’ Farm will receive a complimentary admission ticket to the PANTOPHOBIA haunted attraction at the farm.

The drive will be held Friday, October 9 from 4 to 9 p.m. on a bloodmobile at the farm, 300 Grand Avenue. Each donor will get a free admission ticket valued at $25 which can be used at the haunted attraction any evening from 8 to 10 p.m. through November 1 (except for October 22 and 29).

Donors can call 201-251-3703 to make an appointment to donate or schedule online at www.communitybloodservices.com. Walk-ins are also welcome.

"Climb aboard the ‘tram’ wagon and tour the farm’s Hollyweird back lots,” said Karen Ferriday, director of community affairs at the blood center. “Starve some vampires and, at the same time, save a life!” Ferriday added, noting one blood donation can save up to three lives.

Whole blood donors must be healthy, 17-75 years old (16 years old with parental permission) and weigh at least 110 pounds.

Community Blood Services, a not-for-profit organization that has been serving the community for more than 60 years, provides blood and blood products to more than 20 hospitals in New Jersey and New York.
