Thanksgiving traditionally marks the beginning of the holiday season, a time when donations drop due to holiday vacations, donors traveling to see family, and school closings.�
We are asking�blood, platelet and plasma donors to take time out of their busy holiday schedules to donate at a Community Blood Services’ donor center in New Jersey to help ensure there is an adequate supply on the shelves for the patients who need it during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
As a thank you, donors who give the gift of life on Friday, November 28 in our Paramus or Montvale donor rooms or on Saturday, November 29 at our Paramus or Lincoln Park donor centers will receive a Kohl's gift card.�
Note: our donor centers will all be closed on Thanksgiving, November 27. Regular hours will be in effect on Friday, November 28.

Please ask about making an automated donation (platelet, plasma, double red cells). One donation can yield multiple products�ensuring that the blood components patients need come from fewer donors, which decreases the likelihood of transfusion reactions that can occur from multiple donor products.
