We know that we have been asking a lot from you lately. �The need for blood right now is REAL. �The snowstorms and harsh winter weather has forced our centers to close, our donors to cancel appointments, our blood drives to cancel and with airports closing, our incoming supplies to halt. Our blood supply has been depleted to just a one day supply. About one in seven hospital admissions requires a blood transfusion.�In addition to trauma victims, blood is especially important for premature babies and people with leukemia and other forms of cancer.�Please find some time to make an appointment or walk in to one of our donor centers to make a blood donation.
