Community Blood Services is pleased to announce the opening of its newest donor site in Montvale on August 5. Initially platelet and plasma donors are being invited to donate in order to meet the current needs of our hospital clients but the hope is to begin collecting automated red blood cells shortly. The new donor room also will be used to collect peripheral blood stem cells for bone marrow transplant patients, granulocytes, and mononuclear cells for cellular therapy products under development for the treatment of various cancers.

Turn right on Grand Avenue and go to the second traffic light at the corner of Grand Avenue and Chestnut Hill Road.
Donors coming from the south can take the GSP North to Exit 172. Turn left off the ramp and go to the light at the corner of Grand Avenue and Chestnut Hill Road.
