Community Blood Services� Paramus Donor Center Is Staying In Paramus November 2012
� Paramus, NJ � Community Blood Services, one of the region�s largest independent blood collection organizations, will continue to operate its Paramus Donor Center at 970 Linwood Avenue West.
The center�s corporate offices, recruitment and hospital services� departments will be relocated to a facility in Montvale, New Jersey in early 2013 but the Paramus donor room is not moving, according to Karen Ferriday, director of community affairs for the blood center.
�Our not-for-profit organization has been serving our community for nearly 60 years and remains committed to maintaining a convenient, local donor center for our dedicated blood and platelet donors,� Ferriday said. She noted the blood collected by the center stays in the community for patients at the 15 plus local hospitals in New Jersey and New York State.
Volunteer donors can continue to donate seven days a week at the Paramus donor center:
- Monday, Wednesday or Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday or Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday or Sunday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

�Our hope is that our volunteer donors will continue to donate at our Paramus center, at our center in Lincoln Park, or at a mobile blood drive in their area so they can experience the good feeling of helping to save lives,� said Ferriday. |
