On "Patriot Day" – Tuesday,
September 11 – and throughout the month of September, we invite you to do something
good to mark the memory of the many lives lost and affected by the
heartbreaking events of 9/11.
On that day eleven years ago volunteer
donors lined up patiently outside our blood center to offer their help even
as the lines grew longer and longer. Help us re-create the spirit of giving
on that day in 2001 by scheduling your next donation to help local patients
and their families who face life-threatening situations every day.
Your donation can serve as a
reminder to our community about the importance of always having lifesaving
blood on the shelves, whether for everyday needs or if needed for a
catastrophic emergency.
