Community Blood Services Launches Donorplus, a New Donor Recognition Rewards Program April 2012

Beginning April 3, volunteer blood, platelet and plasma donors at Community Blood Services of NJ/NY will be invited to join Donorplus, the centers new online donor recognition rewards program, as a thank you for their lifesaving donations.
"We hope our donors will be very excited about this new recognition program, where giving gives back, said Karen Ferriday, director of Community Affairs at Community Blood Services. We are happy to offer our donors this opportunity to earn points and get fantastic gifts for helping to save lives in our community."
"We also hope the program will entice our donors to donate more frequently and perhaps look at donating multiple products, which earn them additional points and also helps to ensure there is always a stable blood supply for patients who need it in our community hospitals," Ferriday added.
Donors who register for the program online beginning April 3 by clicking here or visiting www.mydonorplus.com will earn points each time they donate. Those points can be accumulated and redeemed for a wide variety of gifts in the online catalogue. Once the program begins April 3, donors will be able to get more information about the program on the website, including
