WAYNE, NJ - Donít miss your chance to play in Community Blood Servicesí 15th annual Golf Classic!
This yearís Golf Classic is being held on May 14 at the Preakness Hills Country Club, 1050 Ratzer Road, Wayne, New Jersey. The event will begin with registration from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by lunch and a shotgun start at 12 noon in a scramble format. The driving range will be available to golfers between 9 and 11 a.m.
Following a full day of golf, golfers are invited to stay for the evening cocktail reception, buffet dinner and awards ceremony. The evening also will include raffle drawings and a live auction. Friends of the not-for-profit community blood center who do not golf can help support the center's lifesaving work by registering to attend the dinner and accompanying festivities or by purchasing one of a variety of sponsorships.
The day of golf includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and caddy; a full-service locker room; lunch, snacks and beverages on the course; a cocktail reception; a buffet dinner and gourmet desserts; tournament gifts and prizes; raffle drawings; and a live auction.

Community Blood Services, a not-for-profit organization devoted to serving the communityís transfusion medicine needs, supplies blood and blood products to more than 20 hospitals in New Jersey and New York. It operates donor centers and mobile blood drives throughout the New Jersey and New York area.
The Golf Classic is a major fundraiser each year. This yearís proceeds will support the centerís New Jersey Cord Blood Bank (NJCBB), the stateís only public cord blood bank, which provides umbilical cord blood stem cells to patients with life-threatening illnesses around the world.
