Community Blood Services� Donor
To Win 32� HDTV on Valentine�s Day


February 1 to February 10

Anyone who makes a lifesaving whole blood or platelet donation from February 1 through February 10 at Community Blood Services� Paramus or Lincoln Park donor centers in New Jersey, or at its New Windsor or Florida donation sites in New Windsor, will be eligible to win a Toshiba 32" television.

"Community Blood Services hopes that in the days leading up to Valentine�s Day all eligible blood donors will consider making a lifesaving donation �in the name of love� for patients in our community hospitals," said Garrett Allen, call center manager at Community Blood Services. "As our thank you, all donors will be entered into a raffle for a beautiful flat screen TV."

Donors can Click here for locations of the donation sites and hours of operation or Click here to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins to donate whole blood are welcome but an appointment is needed to donate platelets.

In New York, platelet donations are accepted at the Florida donation site only.

Allen said the winner of the HDTV will be announced on Valentine�s Day, Feb. 14.

Community Blood Services is a not-for-profit organization that provides blood and blood products to more than 30 hospitals in New Jersey and New York.

Whole blood donors must be 17-75 years old (16 years old with parental permission) and weigh at least 110 pounds. Donors will receive complimentary health screenings, including non-fasting cholesterol and glucose screenings, at the time of their donations.
