| Those
who show up to donate blood or platelets at Community
Blood Services during the last week of February are eligible
to win a free massage as a way to beat the winter blues. |
| The
winner will be chosen during a drawing on March 1st at
the center. Micki Kuttler of Haworth, a nationally certified
massage therapist, has donated a free one-hour body massage
for the lucky winner. |
| The
center is located at 970 Linwood Avenue West. It is open
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday,
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. |
| A
not-for-profit organization, Community Blood Services
provides blood and blood products to 30 hospitals and
medical centers in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex and
Hudson counties in New Jersey, as well as in New York
City and Rockland and Orange counties in New York. |
| Whole
blood donors must be 18-75 years old (17 with parent's
permission), and weigh at least 110 pounds. |
