Blood Center to Host 4th Annual Golf Classic

The Bergen Community Regional Blood Center will host its 4th Annual Golf Classic on Monday April 30, 2001 at the High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.Proceeds of the event will be used to help offset the costs incurred by the Center in providing blood and blood products to 26 hospitals in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex and Hudson Counties in New Jersey as well as Rockland and Orange counties in New York.

In addition to the golf classic, participants will enjoy a luncheon, a

cocktail reception and dinner. Pow-R-Save, Inc. a heating, air conditioning ventilation and refrigeration firm located in Bloomfield, NJ and servicing the entire state of New Jersey, is the presenting sponsor for the event.

The Classic will include a variety of prizes for the players and dinner

guests. Lincoln-Mercury of Wayne will sponsor the hole-in-one prizes and will award, the lucky golfer who gets a hole-in-one, a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer.

The Center will also raffle an Ingersoll-Rand Model DSE 48 � Club Car. The

golf cart is valued at $6,000 and will be on view in front of Golf America at the Garden State Plaza, in Paramus, on April 6, 2001 and April 7, 2001 from 9AM to 9PM.

Only 600 raffle tickets will be sold. The winning ticket will be drawn

during dinner on the day of the Golf Classic. The winner need not be present. Tickets for the raffle are $50 each.
