Community Blood Services has formed a committee to help the blood center�s Foundation Board. The Foundation Board was established to help support the center�s ongoing programs.

This new committee was organized in August 2001 by MaryAnn Siniscalchi, manager of Volunteer Services. The purpose of this team of volunteers is to meet once a month at the blood center, to explore ideas, provide input and plan events to raise funds to maintain the costs of all the programs so vital in serving the many hospitals and patients who need blood and blood products.

At this time there are seven volunteers on the committee. New members are welcomed. Anyone interested in attending a meeting or who would like more information, please contact MaryAnn at 201-251-3719.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. in the Blood Center Conference Room
