Responsible for production of blood components; red cells, leukocyte reduced red cells, FFP, cryoprecipitate.� Responsible for labeling all products and ensuring adequate inventory of blood components. This position adheres to OSHA Standards�������������������������

Job Requirements: High School Diploma and 1-3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.� Must have good English language skills.

Job Description: The Phlebotomist is responsible for carrying out assigned activities related to donor eligibility, donor care, and blood collection
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required.� Previous employment as a phlebotomist or hospital experience or background in a health related field is preferred, e.g., LPN, physician licensed in another country, certified lab technician, EMT, or medical corpsman. Excellent customer service skills required.� Fluent in English.

Part Time Special Events Coordinator

Job Description:
In conjunction with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors of the Foundation, the Special Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementation and execution of all special events that will benefit the Foundation. Events may include, but are not limited to: Golf tournaments, Galas, Family Events, Theater Parties, Cultivation Events for Donors, Events related to special interests.
Job Requirements:
  • 1-2 years event planning experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Publisher
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have ownership of work and be a proactive thinker
  • Ability to interface with a variety of volunteers, trustees, vendors, contributors and staff members from other departments

Job Description:
Skills, experience, organization and independent thinking are the key to this opportunity with the President & CEO of Community Blood Services.� We are looking for a unique assistant to provide high-level support to a unique executive.� Working together with our President to maximize his output and efficiency on a daily basis through:
  • Liaising with both internal and external parties
  • Screening and prioritizing phone calls
  • Managing calendars by coordinating departmental meetings
  • Following through on project status
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Preparing correspondence of all kinds
  • Organizing materials, including board materials
  • Attending various company meetings.� Preparing and distributing notes when necessary.

Job Requirements:

Job Description:
The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding Community Blood Services’ market share within a pre-established territory.� He/she will be accountable for achieving recruitment goals through acquisition and development of new blood donors/donor groups, and expansion of the existing donor base.
Job Requirements:
College degree or equivalent related job experience.� Minimum of two years sales/marketing experience.� Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking skills.� Active/current driver’s license and car required.� Ability to work non-traditional work hours, as required (evenings, weekends).
