Founded in 1953, Community Blood Services (CBS) is a not-for-profit organization devoted to serving the community�s transfusion medicine needs. � |

Open
24 hours a day, CBS provides blood and blood products to 26 hospitals and
medical centers in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex and Hudson counties in
New Jersey, as well as Rockland and Orange counties in New York.
More
than one million units of blood have been collected by CBS from volunteer
donors and tested, processed and distributed to area hospitals to be used
in vital medical procedures.
CBS
is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks and a candidate for
membership in the Foundation for the Accreditation of Hematopoietic Cell
Therapy (FAHCT).

serve the community --its patients, physicians and hospitals-- with the
safest and highest quality transfusion products and services;
To
assure the safety of the blood supply and the donors we service through
the highest level of integrity and professionalism and utilization of the
maximum technical standards on all aspects of our daily operations.
